Spray pattern geometry:
The spray pattern is crucial for the function and efficiency of an injection system. The SprayMaster enables the detailed analysis of the homogeneity, size and shape of the spray pattern to ensure that the injection of a wide range of fuels has a uniform and controlled distribution:
- Spray pattern area and equivalent diameter
- Mass circle diameter according to SAE definition
- Center of gravity relative to the nozzle axis
- Shortest and longest radius in the spray pattern
- Diagrams of the radial and angular distribution of the fuel spray jet
Spray cone analysis:
The system precisely measures the cone angle, penetration depth and symmetry of the fuel spray jet to ensure optimum spray distribution for various applications:
- Spray cone angle at a specified distance from the nozzle
- Tilt angle as deflection from the nozzle axis
- Both partial angles for symmetry and main direction of the spray jet
